Description: Julia Tuttle was the pioneer and visionary who was the first to recognize Miami's potential as a great city. She convinced Henry Flagler to extend his railroad to Miami, leading to its incorporation in 1896. After a National "Call to Artist" competition, the winning design was create and will be unveiled and installed in Bayfront Park in Downtown Miami.
